The railway, with a total length of over 100 km, connects the Tianjin west railway station with the Beijing Daxing International Airport. It is expected to be operational in 2023. According to the Tianjin Municipal Transportation Commission, the railway is one of the major infrastructure projects for the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The completion of the railway will optimize the railway network layout in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and facilitate the integrated development of transportation in the region. Hawaiian Airlines plane mistakenly enters runway

KANSAI AIRPORT, Japan - Three inspectors of the Japan Transport Safety Board, an arm of the Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Ministry, head for an office of the ministry at Kansai airport near Osaka on Oct. 13, 2011 to investigate an incident that occurred the previous night at the airport. A Honolulu-bound Hawaiian Airlines passenger plane mistakenly entered a runway, just minutes before a cargo jet was due to land. No one was injured in the incident, which involved two Boeing 767 planes.
